A An Food Sets July Record Date for Cash Dividend and 10% Share Issuance

A An Food Joint Stock Company (HOSE: AAN), a notable name in Vietnam's food industry, has finalized the record date for its 2025 cash dividend distribution and a parallel issuance of new shares. The corporate actions, aimed at rewarding shareholders and bolstering the company's capital base, proceed as the firm navigates a mixed financial landscape marked by recent revenue gains but contracting profits.
Shareholder Returns Scheduled for July
The company has officially set July 12, 2026, as the record date for shareholders to be eligible for both initiatives. For the 2025 fiscal year, A An Food will pay a cash dividend at a rate of 10%, which translates to VND 1,000 for each share held. The disbursement of these cash dividends is scheduled to commence on July 22, 2026, ten days after the record date.
In addition to the cash payout, the company will execute a plan to increase its share capital from existing equity sources. This will be done through a stock issuance at a 10:1 ratio. Under this plan, investors will receive one new share for every ten shares they own as of the record date, effectively representing a 10% stock dividend.
Performance Context and 2026 Targets
These shareholder-focused moves follow the company's first-quarter 2026 performance report. During the quarter, A An Food generated net revenue of VND 1.1 trillion, marking a modest 2% increase year-on-year. Despite the top-line growth, its bottom line faced pressure, with profit after tax declining by 23% from the prior year to VND 24 billion.
Looking ahead, the company maintains its guidance for the full 2026 fiscal year. Management is targeting total net revenue of VND 5.5 trillion and a profit after tax of VND 120 billion. On the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange, shares of AAN closed at VND 13,000 on June 25, 2026. This valuation places the company's total market capitalization at over VND 1.1 trillion.
