
Vietnam's Listed Firms Signal 2026 Confidence With Bumper Dividends

A flurry of corporate actions on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange, including significant dividend announcements and ambitious profit targets, indicates growing confidence among Vietnam’s leading listed companies for the 2026 fiscal year.
In the financial sector, SSI Securities Corporation has set a record 2026 target with a consolidated pre-tax profit of around VNĐ5.8 trillion on net revenue of approximately VNĐ15.7 trillion (US$595.8 million), alongside approving a 30% dividend. Similarly, Techcombank (TCB) plans a substantial cash dividend payment exceeding VNĐ7.086 trillion from its more than 7.08 billion shares in circulation. Vietnam International Bank (VIB) also targets higher profit and dividend payouts, with its annual general meeting scheduled for April 8 in Ho Chi Minh City as it moves to complete Basel III implementation.
Aviation giant Vietjet (VJC) unveiled a 20% stock dividend following strong growth in the third quarter of 2025. Its nine-month consolidated revenue surpassed VNĐ52.76 trillion, with profit growing 17% year-on-year to over VNĐ2 trillion. The airline plans to issue 118.3 million new shares with a total par value exceeding VNĐ1.18 trillion (US$44.7 million).
Diversified conglomerate PAN Group is proposing an additional share issuance and has set a 50% total dividend for shareholders, targeting a 2% rise in 2026 consolidated net revenue to VNĐ18 trillion and pre-tax profit of VNĐ2.01 trillion. Other notable announcements include construction firm Coteccons declaring cash dividends after its profit after tax more than tripled year-on-year, marking its highest quarterly profitability in nearly seven years. Dry Cell and Storage Battery Joint Stock Company (PAC) also reported on the results of its share issuance for its 2025 dividend payment.
Further shareholder returns are planned by power generator Nhơn Trạch 2 (NT2), which will disburse nearly US$7.7 million in dividends with a payment date of October 31 and a record date of October 22. Stationery maker Thien Long (TLG) is set to pay dividends ahead of an acquisition by a Japanese group, with a final registration date of December 12. Meanwhile, shipping firm VOSCO (VOS) is resuming dividend payments despite grappling with significant financial challenges.
