TNEX Named Vietnam's Top Digital Bank for Fourth Consecutive Year

TNEX, the digital-only banking platform backed by MSB, has been named "Best Digital Bank in Vietnam 2026" by The Asian Banker, securing the title for the fourth consecutive year.

The award was presented as part of The Asian Banker's annual program, which evaluates financial institutions on factors including operational performance, service quality, and financial strength. The assessment framework covers five key areas: customer scale and quality, product and market coverage, financial performance, balance-sheet strength, and capital adequacy. Organizers said the award recognizes institutions demonstrating sustainable growth while maintaining operational efficiency and prudent risk management, reflecting an industry-wide shift from pure customer acquisition to profitability and long-term stability.

The recognition for TNEX, which began its winning streak in 2022, follows a period of strong performance. In 2025, the bank reported an 84% year-on-year increase in total assets, while revenue from key products grew sevenfold. During the same period, early delinquency rates declined by 30%. The bank stated these performance indicators contributed to its evaluation by the international judging panel.

Operating without a physical branch network, TNEX uses data analytics and automated processes for customer onboarding and service delivery, with certain service approvals now averaging around five seconds. The platform has grown its user base to more than 2.6 million customers and has expanded its ecosystem through partnerships with ZaloPay, Fiza, Viettel Post, HCM Metro, and KiotViet to reach more retail and small-business clients.

Earlier this year, TNEX was also included in the "World's Top 100 Digital Banks Ranking 2026" published by TABInsights, a research arm of The Asian Banker Group. The bank said its development phase from 2026 to 2029 will focus on sustainable growth, technology investment, and risk management, while strengthening its role within the broader MSB ecosystem.
